During the hot summer months, a lot of emphasis is placed on protecting your skin and eyes from harsh ultra violet rays from the sun. Too much exposure can lead to permanent damage including lines, discoloration, wrinkles, damaged skin cells, or even skin cancer. Besides sunburn, too much sun exposure can also lead to heat stroke, dehydration, hives and more. Follow along to learn 5 simple ways you can protect yourself and loved ones from the sun this summer.
5 simple ways you can protect yourself from the sun are:
1- Wear sunglasses with UV protection
2- Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30+
3- Wear a wide-brimmed hat to shade your face.
4- Seek shade between 10am and 4pm.
5- When possible. cover up with long sleeves and pants.
