Spiritual Care
The Department of Spiritual Care at Highpoint Health is committed to caring for the spiritual and emotional needs of patients, families, and staff. We provide spiritual support to people of all faith traditions, and those with none, and are readily available to explore spiritual questions and concerns that may arise during hospitalization.
Spirituality is a vital part of human wholeness and plays an important role in the healing process. Chaplains help people deal with issues of fear, loneliness, ethical values, as well as questions of meaning and hope. The purpose of spiritual care is to empower a holistic approach to utilize the spiritual resources of one's faith and traditions as one seeks healing. Faith gives a foundation from which you can find order in the midst of chaos and hope in the midst of despair.
