Cole Stockton Named Chief Executive Officer of Highpoint Health – Riverview and Highpoint Health – Trousdale
Highpoint Health with Ascension Saint Thomas announced today the appointment of Cole Stockton as the new chief executive officer (CEO) for Highpoint Health – Riverview and Highpoint Health – Trousdale, effective February 24. Stockton brings extensive leadership experience in hospital operations and a deep commitment to expanding access to quality healthcare for the communities these hospitals serve.
Stockton most recently served as vice president of operations at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia, where he led service line enhancements, facility improvements, and strengthened department resources to better support patient care. Prior to that, he was part of Lifepoint Health as assistant administrator at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, North Carolina. During his time at Frye, he played a key role in service expansion, operational improvements, and community health initiatives. His return to Lifepoint Health reflects his strong alignment with the organization’s mission of making communities healthier.

Stockton holds a master of science in health administration and a master of business administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He earned a bachelor of science in health services administration, cum laude, from Auburn University. Throughout his career, he has been actively engaged in community initiatives, participating in leadership programs, serving on advisory councils, and contributing to efforts aimed at improving public health and healthcare accessibility.

Stockton’s professional affiliations and certifications include membership in the Lifepoint Health Executive Fellows Program, the American College of Healthcare Executives, and the National Eagle Scout Association. He also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt for Healthcare certification and has completed FEMA’s incident command system training.
Outside of work, Stockton enjoys spending time with his wife, Lindsay, family, and friends. He is passionate about outdoor activities and sports, particularly fishing and basketball.
