Sumner Regional Welcomes New Chief Nursing Officer

Sumner Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce Isabelle Garibaldi, RN, DNP, as new Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). Garibaldi comes to Sumner Regional from Watertown Regional Medical Center in Watertown, Wisconsin, where she served as CNO for six years. She replaces the previous CNO, Anne Melton, RN, MSN, who retired in 2019.Garibaldi received her Certification in Executive Nursing Practice in 2014 from the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE); a Nurse Executive, Advanced, Board Certified credentialing from the American Nurses Credentialing Center; as well as being a Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS). Her education includes an associate degree in nursing from Milwaukee Area Technical College, an undergraduate degree in Health Administration from the University of St. Francis, a Master of Science in Nursing from Lewis University, and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from RUSH University.
Garibaldi is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is married with four grown children and six grandchildren. When not serving as a medical professional, Isabelle enjoys cooking, travelling internationally, volunteering in the community and equestrian sports.
